Meet our Team

Carlia Lozo

(she/her)

FOUNDER, CERTIFIED INTUITIVE EATING COUNSELLOR & NON-DIET DIETITIAN (APD)

Hey there, beautiful soul! I'm Carlia, the heart and soul behind Welcome to Wellbeing, where I proudly serve as the Founder, Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and a Non-Diet Dietitian.

I have over a decade of experience in providing 1:1 nutrition counselling to women experiencing challenges related to food, body image concerns, and eating disorders. I’m a kind, empathetic and caring clinician with a passion for empowering women to embrace their authentic selves by nurturing a compassionate relationship with food, body, and self.

Drawing from my own lived experience of mental health challenges, I understand that recovery and healing require vulnerability, courage, and trust in the process, along with mindful self-compassion. This personal understanding has deepened my ability to connect with and guide other women to wholeheartedly embrace their authentic selves, cultivating self-acceptance, self-love, and authenticity in how they relate to food, body, and self.

Welcome to Wellbeing has continued to grow and evolve over the years. As we embark on this exciting new chapter, I look forward to assisting even more women through our diverse range of services and programs.

Beyond my work, I'm passionate about living a conscious and authentic life, cherishing precious moments with my young family.

Empowering Women to Embrace Authenticity & Self-Love

The rebirth of Welcome to Wellbeing in 2023 was inspired by a profound moment in Carlia's life—the arrival of her beautiful baby girl. For Carlia, who has always cared deeply about female empowerment, becoming a mum to her little girl only deepened her inspiration for promoting wellbeing and empowerment in women.

Our heartfelt vision is to create a world where women wholeheartedly embrace their authentic selves, cultivating self-acceptance, self-love, and authenticity in how they relate to food, body, and self.

Our mission is to empower women through self-discovery and wellbeing, guiding them to embrace their authentic selves by nurturing a compassionate relationship with food, body, and self.

Our purpose is to create a nurturing space where women can cultivate a peaceful relationship with food, body, and self from a place of love and acceptance.

The Heart of Our Culture

At Welcome to Wellbeing, our non-diet dietitians embody the values of authenticity, compassion, mindfulness, and community, ensuring that each client's journey to a healthier relationship with food, body, and self is grounded in these core principles.

AUTHENTICITY

We empower women to liberate themselves from societal expectations, guiding them to accept and embrace their true selves.

COMPASSION

We connect with our clients through empathy and compassion, empowering them to nurture their own self-compassion, self-love, and acceptance.

COMMUNITY

We create a community where women uplift and support one another, fostering shared experiences and collective growth.

MINDFULNESS

We invite our clients to cultivate mindfulness and non-judgmental awareness towards their relationship with food, body, and self.
